The Big East regular season odds see the UConn Huskies as the expensive favorite to win, as they are also looking to defend their March Madness win from a season ago. UConn, despite winning the national championship, finished fourth within the conference last season.
They are now the favorites as the once favored Marquette Golden Eagles have dropped since and now find themselves tied with the Creighton Bluejays for the second-best odds.

Big East basketball odds 2024: Favorite
What's impressive about UConn's run is that for five games they've been without Wooden Award contender Clingan. He recently returned, not fully, but is available to play – so the rich get richer.
They have won six straight games since losing at Seton Hall and have moved into the No. 1 ranking among the AP voters. They are coming off an impressive home win against Creighton but have a handful of road games to get through including a home meeting against Marquette.
Big East basketball 2024: Contender
Marquette dropping from +400 to +225 should be a sign to take them now if convinced in Smart's squad. The Golden Eagles went 17-3 in league play to win the regular-season title last season, seemingly poised to do so again.
T hey cut down the nets with a Big East conference tourney crown to follow that up, a run that included a victory over the UConn Huskies.
Tyler Kolek might be the best point guard in the country, and Kameron Jones with Oso Ighodaro continue to lead the Golden Eagles as a top offense in the country.
Big East basketball odds 2024: Long shot
If you live in New Jersey, sorry. This is a great long shot to consider as Seton Hall is 6-1 within the conference, which is tied for first as they have also already beaten the other 6-1 team in UConn.
What stands out about Seton Hall is their home record, currently 9-1 and part of their five-game winning streak. Keep in mind this is a unit led by Shaheen Holloway, who was part responsible for the amazing run St. Peter's went on in March Madness.

There hasn't been much movement besides the Huskies taking the top spot from Marquette. The Golden Eagles have dropped to +800 territory with Creighton, who has floated around that area for a few months now.
Seton Hall catapulted to 15/1 odds, but otherwise each school has remained stagnant within the odds race. Xavier has dropped slightly, but still getting odds south of 100/1 with DraftKings while Providence has moved to five digits following a solid start to the season.
