Dan Karpuc: Oklahoma -13 vs. Kansas State

This is my favorite bet of the week by a considerable margin. Let's start with the Sooners. New Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables has this Oklahoma program clicking; they beat UTEP, 45-13, in Week 1, Kent State, 33-3, in Week 2 and then Nebraska, 49-14, on the road in Week 3. Transfer quarterback Dillon Gabriel (9 total TDs, 0 INTs) looks very comfortable at the helm of this powerful offense that has nine rushing touchdowns with 705 rushing yards through three contests. This game will take place in Oklahoma, which gives them a nice home-field advantage.

Meanwhile, Kansas State just got upset at home by Tulane, 17-10, after they took down South Dakota and Missouri to open the new year. Adrian Martinez (college football's Perry Ellis?) transferred to KSU in the offseason and has no t done much through three games: 62.1% completion rate, 304 yards, one passing TD, no INTs, two rushing TDs. The Wildcats have thrown the ball just 70 times compared to 130 rushes on offense and will likely have to completely get out of their comfort zone to keep up with this Sooners offense this week (which bodes well for Oklahoma). I can see the Sooners winning this game by 30.
