The Phoenix Suns are back in action following the All-Star break, and you know that means I've been eyeing some Chris Paul props.
Can we talk about how the NBA knows how to build a schedule following the All-Star break? Nine games were scheduled for Thursday and eight for Friday. What a time to be alive.

NBA SGP predictions: Knicks vs. Wizards
Attacking FanDuel's plus-money price on Porzingis' rebound total of 8.5 provides us with a higher positive expected value compared with DraftKings, BetMGM, and Caesars' total of 7.5. I have the Over 8.5 rebounds for Porzingis priced at -130.
I hope Randle shoots the ball as well against the Wizards as he did at the NBA All-Star weekend in the 3-point contest. In all seriousness, this total is just too high for Randle, who is projected to score 25.3 points. Caesars has the Under 26.5 priced at -133, which is much more accurate based on the numbers. The odds of Randle scoring u nder 26.5 points should be priced closer to -145.
I have a feeling that Porzingis has had this game circled on his calendar (revenge against the Knicks) and will be fired up following the All-Star break. We're a bit late to the party here, as Porzingis's assist prop opened at FanDuel at Over 2.5 (+132) and has been bet down to +104, but it still shows value. Even at +104, this bet has a positive expected value of 10% based on the projections for Porzingis.
NBA SGP predictions: Heat vs. Bucks
I bet on Adebayo to have 12-plus rebounds in the Bucks and Heat matchup at +200 a couple of weeks ago, and he ended with 11 rebounds. Unlike a couple of weeks ago, Giannis Antetokounmpo will not be playing in Friday's game. There should be fewer shots from inside the paint and fewer easy rebounds on missed free throws. I'm pricing Adebayo at -155 for Under 10.5 rebounds.< /p>
I believe this prop will be way Under the total, and the market agrees, with BetMGM and BetRivers trading the Under 20.5 points at -125. The Under 20.5 points should trade at -195 instead of -118 based on Herro's projected point total of 17.6 points on Friday.
Lopez is a player who I will be pushing the envelope with because we saw what he did last game when Antetokounmpo left the game with a wrist injury, dropping 33 points on the Bulls. Since Lopez is projected to score 16.6 points, playing the Over on his point total of 13.5 at FanDuel feels like taking an iron off of the tee. My price for this prop is -150. I would also recommend placing a straight bet on Lopez for this prop.
NBA SGP predictions: Thunder vs. Suns
As the Oklahoma City Thunder are coming off of an overtime thriller in Utah on Thursday night, I'm sure everyone is alre ady struggling with their All-Star legs, even without an overtime game at altitude. The Under should be traded at -150 instead of -118 as Gilgeous-Alexander is projected to score 29.6 points against the Suns, which is significantly below his total of 31.5 points.
Besides the numbers being in our favor, Paul will be playing against his former team, so there's always the added element of revenge involved. We can price this prop at -120 since Paul is projected to score 15.7 points against the Thunder. There are other sportsbooks, such as DraftKings, which offers a price point very similar to ours at -115, but FanDuel offers the Over 14.5 at +100, which is why this wager makes our parlay.
The Over for Booker's assist prop is being steamed hard on FanDuel right now. Having opened at 4.5 (-132), it's now trading at -146. I'm not opposed to playing the Over 4.5, however, I'm going to attack this prop with an alternative total of 6-plus assists due to a slow response from this particular market. By dropping nine dimes in his last game, Booker has shown that he is able to rip by his total. Taking the 6-plus assists rather than the Over 4.5 at these prices provides me with roughly a 2% higher edge in my price.
