We had ourselves a nice 2-0 day to start out the week yesterday! The Astros absolutely cruised by the Tigers in the 1st Half, touching up Eduardo Rodriguez to the tune of 5 ER on 10 Hits through 5.0 IP while Framber Valdez went the distance for a complete game shutout striking out 8. Although the Braves couldn’t bring home a win in their game at San Francisco, Spencer Strider did more than enough to cash his prop racking up 9 Ks through 5.0 innings of work. Taking an over in a game Gerrit Cole is pitching seems like a risk, but with how this season has gone for him against the Red Sox and in Boston, it seems worth a shot. In his one start at Fenway this season, he allowed 5 ER and 2 HR in 6 IP. And in 3 total starts against the Red Sox, he’s allowed 10 ER in 17.0 IP.
The Yankees offense seems to be bouncing back as well after a lull, putting up 10 runs in each of the last two games. Boston’s offense has been very up and down, so it seems a little risky, but at close to even money, let’s roll the dice and add this to our Top MLB Prop Bets for September 13th.
