Top MLB Prop Bets for September 12th

This one is kind of a “don’t think, just shoot” type of bet. The Astros are the American League’s best team holding a 5.5-game lead over the Yankees for that spot, so while locking up the top seed looks likely, it’s far from a sure thing. Framber Valdez is throwing for the Astros today who is quietly having one of the best seasons of any starter in the American League, and with Justin Verlander still sidelined becomes their ace.

He opposes Eduardo Rodriguez who in 61.0 IP this season has issued 25 walks. If he’s giving Astros free passes, they’re very likely to take advantage. The Astros have every advantage tonight and an ace on the mound, let’s take their 1st Half.
