Shane McClanahan will take the mound for the R ays tonight. McClanahan is currently the favorite to win the AL Cy Young this season.
While his performance in the All-Star game was subpar on Tuesday, in the regular season, he's been everything but subpar. He has a 2.10 xFIP in the last 30 days and has struck out 37% of batters in that same time frame.
The Orioles, on the other hand, have a .134 ISO and wOBA of .282 in the last 30 days against lefties. Only Anthony Santander and Ramon Urias have inflated numbers against lefties in this Orioles lineup in the last 30 days.
Take the Orioles to go under 1.5 runs in the first five innings. McClanahan is going to put on another show.
