The Boston Celtics were able to stave off their trip to Cancun in Game 4 of the series. Now for Game 5, they are back at home knowing that a win here could really start mounting the pressure. As you may already know, no NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit. The Miami Heat could risk entering the history books if they keep the door open for the hosts here. Having won 2 games in Bos ton already, they should be confident they can put an end to this series here.

The Boston Celtics controlled proceedings in Game 4. That should ensure that they do not tinker with their lineups which should see Al Horford starting at center once more. The 36-year-old is not known for his athletic prowess and should have issues winning the opening tip against a younger and more explosive Bam Adebayo. As a result, look for the Miami Heat to have the opening possession for the 2nd game in a row.
After the disappointment of Game 4, look for Jimmy Butler to come out and set the tone early. He was one of the few bright sparks for his team in the last game, dropping 29 points. He also attempted 20 or more shots for the 3rd time in 4 games. That level of aggression should position him well to open the scoring in the game. Butler has been more intent on starting fast during these playoffs. He has made the first field goal in 2 of his last 9 games having done so just 5 times over the previous 70. He looks good value today too.
