Season record: 58-58-1

Utah State Aggies at Boise State Broncos (-16.5, 51.5)

Adam Burke: That’s not a typo. This is a 10 a.m. kickoff on the smurf turf in Boise between the Aggies and the Broncos, so it’ll be a really sleepy atmosphere at Albertsons Stadium while everybody is shaking off the tryptophan hangover from dinner the night before. This game also means absolutely nothing to Boise State, who beat Wyoming last week in Laramie to secure a spot in the Mountain West Conference Championship Game next week against Fresno State. With a head-to-head 40-20 win, the Broncos aren’t even playing for home-field advantage in this game.

Utah State doesn’t really have anything to play for after locking up bowl eligibility last week, but another win might lead to a better bowl game. Boise State is mostly focused on staying healthy for the following week. Utah State has lost six in a row and 18 of the last 19 to Boise State, so the Aggies may push hard to climb that hurdle.

Either way, this is way too many points for a Boise team hoping to win and get out healthy.
