The Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars face off on Sunday in an NFL showdown at TIAA Bank Field. When these two teams last faced off in 2020 it was the Ravens that secured the 40-14 victory.
The Ravens come into this game with a 7-3 record overall and they have gone 4-5-1 against the spread. In the last game against the Carolina Panthers, the offense struggled to move the ball, but they were still able to secure the 13-3 victory. Lamar Jackson only had 31 rushing yards, and they need him to be more dynamic with his legs here. He did throw for 209 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. The Ravens are averaging 24.8 points while their defense is giving up 19.9 points per game. Running back Gus Edwards is expected to be back here, and that will be a big boost for the Ravens running game.
On the other side of this matchup is the Jagaurs who sit with a 3-7 record and they have gone 3-6-1 against the spread. In the last game against the Chiefs the Jaguars gave up 27 points, and ended up losing by 10 points. Trevor Lawrence did have a solid game completing 29 of his 40 passes for 259 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Lawrence has shown some flashes of really turning the corner, but he is still too inconsistent. The Jaguars are averaging 21.6 points while their defense is giving up 20.5 points per game. Running back Travis Etienne Jr is having a big season rushing for 725 yards and four touchdowns.
