Bally Bet plans to go live in Massachusetts by the end of June, the sports betting operator shared at Thursday's Massachusetts Gaming Commission meeting.
Bally's initially received an online sports betting operator license in January 2023, but wasn't prepared to launch previously. That's expected to change this summer.
“Our commitment is strong here,” Brett Calapp, Bally's chief operating officer, said. “We're really excited to be in the state. This is a state with such a rich sports history.”
Calapp says the operator is working through all Massachusetts sports betting regulatory hurdles. While there's work left to be done, he doesn't anticipate the betting app hitting any “barriers” in preparation for a June launch.
