Ball State vs. Texas State Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-10-2024

The Ball State Cardinals are heading to the Strahan Arena at the University Events Center on Saturday evening to take on the Texas State Bobcats in non-conference action. The Cardinals (12-11) are coming off an 84-79 overtime home loss on Tuesday against the Ohio Bobcats. The Bobcats (10-14) are on a three-game winning streak after a  63-56 home win against the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Wednesday. 



The Ball State Cardinals are looking to recover from their 84-79 overtime home loss against the Ohio Bobcats. Junior guard Jalin Anderson stepped up as in 44 minutes and recorded 22 points, nine rebounds, three assists one steal and four turnovers. The Bobcats had a decent shooting night themselves as Ohio had a 48.3 field goal percentage, 28.0 three-point percentage and 26 charity stripe attempts.  

 

The Ball State Cardinals are scoring at a good rate as they are averaging 75.4 points whale shooting 45.9% from the field. The defense has done a decent job as they are gi ving up 71.0 points per game thus far.
