Sixteen teams, including the Avalanche and Kraken, reached the 2023 NHL Playoffs, which includes 4 rounds – the First Round, Second Round, Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Finals.
Each round of the NHL Playoffs is contested as a best-of-seven series, with the first team to 4 wins advancing to the next round until a champion is crowned.
