ATS Report for Tuesday, June 20, on MLB, plus season-long stats for faves/home teams/totals

Tuesday Betting Recaps

Tuesday didn't seem so extraordinary with MLB playing a full 15-game schedule.

However, I was pretty impressed that almost all the teams that have been streaking (win or lose) the past week kept their streaks alive. The winning streaks continued for the Reds (10 straight), Giants (9), Braves (7) and Red Sox (6). The only team with a win streak of 5 games or more to lose was the Phillies – and they were facing the Braves with both on 6-game streaks, so one of them had to lose.

The teams continuing their losing skids were the Pirates (8 straight), Rockies (7), A’s (6) and Nationals (5).

Let’s get to the details with our daily recaps, plus also update the season-long betting stats, including the USFL as it heads to its playoffs this weekend.

MLB: Giants (+100 home underdogs) rallied again to beat the Padres 4-3 on a walk-off (this time a walk-off walk in the bottom of the 9th) for their 9th straight win. Earlier, the Reds (-197 home faves) held off the Rockies 8-6 for their 10th straight win while the Rockies were losing their 7th straight. The Pirates (+121 home dogs) lost 4-0 to the Cubs for their 8th loss in a row.

More MLB: Faves went 9-6 Tuesday with the biggest upsets by the Orioles (+145 in 8-6 win at Rays) and White Sox (+135 in 7-6 win vs. Rangers). Road teams went 8-7. Unders led 9-6. On the season, faves lead 633-451 with 17 games closing pick-'em. Home teams lead 576-523 with 2 neutral-site games. Unders' improved slim lead to 533-525-42 with 1 no-action.
