Atlanta Hawks at Houston Rockets – 11/25/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Atlanta Hawks invade the Toyota Center to take on the Houston Rockets on Friday night.

The Atlanta Hawks have been in good form as they’ve won seven of their last 11 games overall and they will be eager to maintain that momentum after taking down the red-hot Kings in a 115-106 win on Wednesday. Trae Young led the way with 35 points and seen assists on 11 of 19 shooting, Dejounte Murray added 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists while Clint Capela tallied 11 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks. As a team, the Hawks shot 44 percent from the field and 11 of 30 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running and exploded for 72 points in the first half to jump out to an early 19-point lead and the margin never got closer than seven points from that point onwards.

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets have been in dreadful form as they’ve lost 14 of their first 17 games of the season and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after falling to the Warriors in a 127-120 loss on Sunday. Kevin Porter Jr. led the team with 30 points and six assists on 10 of 19 shooting, Jabari Smith added 22 points, Tari Eason scored 19 points while Jalen Green chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Rockets shot 45 percent from the field and 15 of 45 from the 3-point line as they dominated the second quarter by 37-21 to overcome an early 18-point deficit, but they couldn’t maintain that pace and allowed 65 points in the second half to allow the Warriors to slip away in the end.
