Arizona Bowl Preview: Toledo vs. Wyoming

Bowl season action heats up on Saturday, December 30, with four matchups, including the Arizona Bowl between Toledo and Wyoming at Arizona Stadium in Tucson.

Toledo vs. Wyoming (-3, 44.5)

This year’s rendition of the Arizona Bowl will be all about motivation. Wyoming will enter the game with motivation in spades as they try to send off future College Football Hall of Fame Coach Craig Bohl with a win in his final game. After 10 seasons at the helm of Wyoming and three national championships at North Dakota, he will be hanging it up after this year’s bowl game.

The more talented squad, the Toledo Rockets, will have to match that edge and passion if they want to prevail. If the Rockets are able to do so, it will be without star quarterback DeQuan Finn who entered the portal after a disappointing loss to Miami (OH) in the MAC title game and will suit up for Baylor next year. Tucker Gleason will step in under center to Toledo. In three appearances, all late in blowouts, the numbers have been good, throwing for four touchdowns and no interceptions. A bowl game and meaningful snaps will be a whole new animal for the sophomore quarterback, but he will have weapons around him.
