ARC to sponsor retired racehorses at the National Horseracing Museum

The National Horseracing Museum and Arena Racing Company (ARC) have announced a new partnership that will see the ARC support the National Horseracing Museum.

The agreement is aimed specifically at the work taking place at the Rothschild Yard at Palace House, which revolves around the retraining of retired racehorses (RoR). The museum allows visitors to see the former racehorses and discusses ways it helps and cares for the horses, once the animal is in its post-racing career.

Speaking of the partnership, David Thorpe, Chairman of ARC, said: “We are absolutely delighted to announce this partnership and our support of the fantastic work done by the team at NHRM. The Rothschild Yard is a tremendous facility that does an incredibly important job for British Racing in helping to showcase the aftercare that horses receive and really promoting it to the public.

“NHRM is a real asset to the British horseracing industry, and one that we are proud to support and help promote across our racecourses.”
