Allwyn to target US lottery tenders after UK contract landmark

After Camelot dropped its case over the handover contract for the Fourth National Lottery Licence in the UK, Allwyn's progress has been celebrated by Cohn Robbins Holdings Corporation (CRHC).

Allwyn was Camelot's rival bidder for the UK National Lottery from 2024 and the withdrawn legal action means Allwyn can proceed with the requisite handovers to implement its lottery systems.

CRHC is involved in a process to take Allwyn public on the New York Stock Exchange and has commented on Allwyn now being able to proceed with the National Lottery handover.

Although IGT is yet to drop its proceedings against the Gambling Commission, analyst Lee Richardson told Camelot's withdrawal is “good news for future lottery players.”
