The North Dakota Fighting Hawks and Iowa State State Cyclones face off on Wednesday in a college basketball showdown at the Hilton Coliseum. When these two teams faced off in 2009 it was Iowa State that secured the 83-52 victory.
North Dakota comes into this game with a 5-3 record and they have gone 4-3 against the spread. In the last game against UConn the offense only managed 53 points, and that led to the loss. Iowa State does have big wins over North Carolina and Villanova. Iowa State is averaging 73.3 points while their defense is giving up 58.3 points per game. The defense is ranked 25th in the league and the defense is going to need to be strong here. Guard Jaren Holmes has been the top player for Iowa State averaging 16.7 points while shooting 41.1 percent from the field.
