One of the wins came in a thrilling 134-133 victory last week against the Phoenix Suns in Utah. Their slump can partly be blamed on the absence of starting point guard Mike Conley, who has missed the last three games, all losses, while battlin g a leg injury and is expected to be out again Saturday. Forward Rudy Gay will also miss the contest.
The Suns are also missing their point guard, Chris Paul, but have won their last three games since losing to the Jazz. Despite also missing forward Cameron Johnson for most of the season, they sit on top of the Western Conference with a 12-6 record, including a 10-1 record at home.
