Our 76ers vs. Jazz NBA player props based on the best NBA odds believe Utah should take care of business at home against a short-handed Philadelphia squad on Thursday,
We finally get to watch a Utah Jazz (24-25) home game on TNT this season, so of course, the game lost some of its luster in the days leading up to Thursday's showdown. Philadelphia 76ers (29-17) center Joel Embiid, who remains an NBA MVP odds contender until he misses too many games, is listed as out with a knee injury. At the same time, point guard Tyrese Maxey is questionable.
Philadelphia is firmly in the Eastern Conference playoff picture but is just 3-9 in games without Embiid. Maxey hasn't played in a week, so Utah has been made a solid favorite at home. And that's why we are targeting some specific player props for our best wagers ahead of this nationally televised game.

76ers vs. Jazz props
As Mike Shearer recently explained in this Substack post, Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen is having a sneaky historic season. A total of 84% of his scoring has come on assists, which is by far the highest percentage of assisted buckets among the top scorers in the league. He ranks 22nd in the league with an average of 23.5 points per contest.
The problem is that Philadelphia doesn't give up a lot of assists. The 76ers rank ninth in the league in assists allowed per game. Some of that is Joel Embiid's presence around the rim, but head coach Nick Nurse's scheme also deserves a ton of credit.
Markkanen is a fun player and capable of scoring 25-plus points on any given night, but he's unlikely to do so on his own. With a projection of 22 points, we see some solid value on this Under at BetRivers. After all, he's only cleared this scoring prop in two of his last five outings.

I'm anticipating rookie guard Keyonte George to get more run on Thursday, particularly after he played 31 minutes against the Washington Wizards just a week ago. So it's up to bettors to figure out the best angle for a game featuring more of George.
For my money, the turnover prop makes a lot of sense for a young guard on a national stage. George has committed multiple turnovers in 67% of his games this season, including six of his last 10 contests. The 76ers, meanwhile, rank fifth in the league in turnovers forced per game.

Thanks to Embiid's absence, we are catching an extremely high assists prop for Tobias Harris. The power forward averages just 3.1 assists per game, and we don't envision a scenario where he's the full engine of this offense. Harris has only cleared this assists prop in 19% of his regular-season games. Two of those eight performances have come in the last four ou tings, which explains why this number has climbed a bit.
