The third major of the PGA Tour season is here, and the world's best golfers will converge on Los Angeles Country Club to determine the 2023 U.S. Open champion. The tournament tees off Thursday, with the usual suspects at the top of the odds board. Matt Fitzpatrick won last year's U.S. Open at Brookline, but world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Masters winner Jon Rahm and PGA champ Brooks Koepka all are among those trying to prevent a repeat. Koepka is one of seven golfers who have won consecutive U.S. Opens, accomplishing the feat 2017 and '18.
