RBC Canadian Open Field and Course

Oakdale Golf & Country Club is a never-before-seen venue for the 2023 event. The Par 72 course features just three very reachable Par 5s and three Par 3s. Oakdale features a mix of both very short and very long Par 4s with four holes playing less than 400 yards and four longer than 450 yards.

The 156-player field is led by World No. 3 Rory McIlroy, and includes some solid depth at the top, with a total of 10 of the top-30 players in the world rankings: Matt Fitzpatrick, Sam Burns, Tyrrell Hatton, Cameron Young, Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, Sahith Theegala, Justin Rose, and Corey Conners.

Check out the hole-by-hole flyover of each hole. The Black Creek runs throughout the property crossing through seven of the tournament holes.

RBC Canadian Open Picks & Predictions

Over his last 36 rounds, Lowry ranks No. 1 in this field in strokes gained: Approach and top-6 in SG: Tee-to-Green and Ball Striking. He's gained strokes off the tee in six-straight starts and on approach in eight straight. His putter is giving him more chances to score now and he's gained strokes in his last two events that includes a T-12 at the PGA Championship.

Lowry's iron play is among the best in the field. His proximity-to-hole stats are solid from 100-160 yards, and superb from 175+ and beyond 200 yards. Lowry made the trek North of the border last year and finished top 10 in the Canadian Open. A new course, and perhaps even more to his liking and strengths.

Pick: Shane Lowry (+1800) to Win and/or Finish Top 10 (TBD)
