Although the AL has MLB home run leader Shohei Ohtani (32 HRs) on their side, the NL has a ton of power, too. Matt Olson (29), Mookie Betts (26), and Pete Alonso (26) round out the top four when it comes to the HR leaderboard, giving the National League plenty of options to do some long-ball damage.
While AL starting pitcher Gerrit Cole has been terrific this season, he hasn't been as effective lately, playing to a 4.00 ERA while averaging just 5.7 strikeouts in his last three starts. Meanwhile, NL starter Zac Gallen has won four of his past five appearances, recording a 2.91 ERA with 32 strikeouts over 34 innings.
Losing streaks can't last forever and the NL is due for a strong performance. If Gallen pitches well to begin and the bats live up to the hype, the National League's woes will finally come to an end.

I'm going to take the total going over seven runs as the best bet tonight. Although the Midsummer Classic doesn't always result in fireworks, 13 of the last 20 MLB All-Star games have featured at least seven combined runs. With a plethora of power on both sides of the field, I won't be shocked if eight-plus runs are scored tonight.
In other words, expect a solid amount of offense at T-Mobile Park.
