The Atlantic Coast Conference, better known as the ACC, is made up of 2 divisions within its football conference. The winners of each division play for the ACC Championship at the end of the season prior to Bowl Season.
Last season, Wake Forest was victorious in the Atlantic Division, and Pittsburgh made it out of the Coastal Division. Pittsburgh came up with a big 45-21 win over Wake Forest to claim the Conference Title.
The biggest shock out of the ACC last season was the slide of the Clemson Tigers. They have ruled the conference for nearly a decade, but last season they failed to make the Conferen ce Final. This upcoming season looks more promising for Clemson as they hold a large lead in both their division and the conference.
