Wise n' Shine: NBA picks, MLB predictions and NHL best bets for Sunday, April 9

Good morning Pickswise Nation, and welcome to another super Sunday of sports. There’s a huge day in store in the Masters at Augusta and still plenty of issues to be settled on the final day of the NBA regular season. We also have NHL, MLB and XFL games, plus NASCAR and soccer action, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better.

About Last Night

Crucial wins for T-Wolves and Clippers
The Timberwolves can now finish no worse than 9th in the Western Conference after beating the Spurs 151-131 on Saturday and they could still get ahead of the Pelicans if they beat New Orleans today. The Clippers can finish no lower than 7th after beating the Trail Blazers 136-125, but need another win today to have a chance of avoiding the play-in tournament. Ivica Zubac scored the first basket of the Clippers game to give Pickswise a +470 winner.

MLB parlay cashes at +464 odds
Our MLB cappers had a strong day, going 11-6 on Saturday’s slate, 2-1 on Best Bets, hitting our MLB prop bet and stretching our YRFI/NRFI run to 4-0. We also cashed our Saturday parlay at +464 odds! The Rays continued their astounding start to the season, beating the Athletics 11-0 to move to 8-0.

Our +1085 odds NHL mega parlay wins!
We love it when a mega parlay cashes and we landed a big one on Saturday with our +1085 odds NHL mega parlay. On top of that the Pickswise NHL team went 14-5 overall on picks and 2-0 on hockey player props. One of those prop wins came as Connor McDavid became the first player to score 150 points in a season for 27 years with 2 goals and an assist in the Oilers’ 6-1 win over the Sharks.
