William & Mary vs. Monmouth Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-8-2024

The William & Mary Tribe will head to the OceanFirst Bank Arena on Thursday evening to take on the Monmouth Hawks in Coastal Athletic Association action. The Tribe (8-15, 3-7 CAA) are on a two-game losing streak after an 84-83 home loss on Saturday against the Charleston Cougars. The Hawks (12-11, 5-5) are coming off an 84-80 road loss against the Delaware Blue Hens on Saturday. 



The William & Mary Tribe are coming off a tough 84-83 home loss against the Charleston Cougars in their most recent game. The Tribe were able to shoot the ball well as they were able to shoot 27-of-58 (46.6%) from the floor, 10-of-26 (38.5%) from the three-point line and 26 free-throw attempts. Sophomore guard Chase Lowe played well as in 30 minutes and recorded 21 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and three turnovers. The defense has struggled a bit in the game as Charleston was able to have a team shooting split of 45.0/34.4/86.4 against William & Mary.

 

The William & Mary Tribe are doing decently well on the offensive side of the floor as they are scoring 72.0 points per game while shooting 42.6% from the floor. The defe nse needs to do a bit better as they are allowing 73.2 points per game so far as well.
