The Washington Wizards head into Boston on Friday night to take on the Eastern Conference-leading Boston Celtics. The Wizards have the second-worst record in the NBA at 9-41 as they continue a rebuild that started this summer after trading away several pieces including All-Star guard Bradley Beal. The Celtics have the best record in the NBA thus far at 39-12 and have lost just three games at home this season. The opening tap is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST.

It has been a tough, long season for the Wizards as they begin the slow climb back to respectability with an ever-changing roster. The Wizards head into Boston with just nine wins and will likely be in a great position to earn a top 3 pick in this year's NBA Draft. On Wednesday night, the Wizards lost their fourth straight game in a 114-106 loss to the Cavaliers at home. Kyle Kuzma led the Wizards with 28 points as the team fell to 2-7 under interim coach Brian Keefe. Corey Kispert chipped in with 23 points while Daniel Gafford added a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds.

The Wizards, as of this writing, have not moved on from any other players in the midst of the trade deadline. If the team does hang onto Kyle Kuzma, this summer will likely be spent finding a home for the veteran forward. The Wizards come into this game ranked 16th in the NBA in scoring offense after ranking near the top of the scoring list for much of the first part of the season. The Wizards are just 27th in 3-point shooting this season. They are last in the NBA in scoring defense and total rebounding as well. The Wizards are 21st in 3-point defense as well.

Key Injuries: Isaiah Lively and Marvin Bagley III are questionable.
