USC at Oregon State – 2/11/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The USC Trojans will head up to Corvallis to meet the Oregon State Beavers in Pac-12 play from the Gill Coliseum on the P12N. Southern Cal leads the all-time series, 72-62, after winning the last four meetings.

Southern Cal dropped to 17-7 after falling to Oregon in Eugene. The Trojans never overcame a slow start, and they’d end up falling to the Ducks by 18 points. USC is scoring 71.8 points per game, while allowing 67.1 ppg, and shooting 45.8% from the floor

Even with the loss to Oregon, USC had been very sharp since Thanksgiving break, winning 13 of the last seventeen games, and they will more than likely qualify for the big Dance next month with a solid finish to the regular season. The Trojans are 9-4 in Pac-12 play, with a 3-4 road record. Senior guard Boogie Ellis has put it all together this season, and after scoring 31 points in the win over cross-town rival UCLA, he’s averaging a career-high 16.6 ppg. Fellow veteran Drew Peterson remains one of the most versatile players in the country, and after flirting with a triple-double against UW, he’s up to 14.2 ppg, and team-leads of 6.3 rpg and 4.2 apg.
