UNLV at San Diego State Prediction – Basketball Picks 2/11/23

The San Diego State Aztecs will host UNLV Runnin’ Rebels in Mountain West play from the Viejas Arena on FOX. San Diego State leads the all-time series, 39-35, after winning the last four meetings.

UNLV moved to 16-8 after defeating Wyoming in Laramie. The Runnin’ Rebels pulled away from the Cowboys after the break and won by ten points. UNLV is scoring 76.1 points per game, while allowing 68.5 ppg and shooting 44.5% from the field. 

UNLV has won four of their last five games, but they really gave an uphill battle here. The Runnin’ Rebels are 5-7 in Mountain West play, with a 4-3 road record. Former OU guard Elijah Harkless went off for a season-high 33 points in the win over Wyoming last time out, and he leads the Rebels in scoring (18.1). Ole Miss transfer Luis Rodriguez and sophomore guard Keshon Gilbert both average 12 ppg, with the former leading the team in boards at 5.8 rpg.
