A pair of Pac-12 programs that call the Golden State home take the floor in search of a win in Berkeley. The UCLA Bruins are on the road as they travel to take on the Cal Golden Bears Saturday afternoon. UCLA picked up an 82-74 win over Stanford on the road in their previous contest Wednesday night, winning outright as a 3.5-point underdog. Cal downed USC 83-77 in overtime at home in their previous game Wednesday night, covering the line as a three-point favorite. In the all-time series between the teams, the Bruins own a 123-45 advantage though it was the Golden Bears taking a 66-57 win on the road in the first meeting this season January 6.

UCLA won their fourth straight and their sixth in the last seven games as they took down Stanford on the road Wednesday night. The Bruins improved to 12-11 overall and stand fourth in the Pac-12 with a 7-5 mark in conference play this season. Against Stanford, UCLA led by two at the half and took the lead for good on an Adem Bona three-point play with 11:24 to play in the game. The Bruins went up 52-50 at that point and never let the Cardinal even again. UCLA shot 45.3% from the field, including 11 of 25 from three-point range, and knocked down 23 of 30 free throws to offset Stanford shooting 52.8% from the floor. Sebastian Mack led the Bruins with 21 points in the contest.

The Bruins average 66.4 points per game so far this season, putting them 334th in the nation in scoring offense. UCLA is below average on the glass, grabbing 34.7 boards a night, and dishes off 11.7 assists per game. The Bruins are excellent on the defensive end, ranking 18th in scoring defense as they are allowing 64.2 points per game. Adem Bona is second on the team in scoring with 12.2 points plus 6.1 rebounds per game this season. UCLA is shooting 41.9% from the floor as a team this season. The Bruins knock down an average of only 5.3 triples a night while draining 32.5% from beyond the arc. UCLA is above average at the free throw line as they are connecting on 72.4% as a team this season.
