Toronto, one of the favorites to win the AL East, hasn't gotten the consistent pitching the team had hoped for yet this season. On Monday night in game one of the series, the Blue Jays were trounced 11-0 by the Marlins. Looking for redemption on Tuesday night, the Blue Jays got back-to-back RBI singles in the eight inning from Ernie Clement and George Springer to take a 2-0 shutout win. Starter Yusei Kikuchi pitched six shutout innings and the Blue Jays bullpen followed him with three shutout innings as the Jays bounced back from Monday's loss.
