NHL pick today: Tampa Bay Lightning 3-Way ML over San Jose Sharks (-130), 4:30 pm ET
It's evident that the Sharks are rebuilding for the future and their lack of playmakers across the ice has made it tough for them to win games, so they should struggle tonight against a talented and experienced Tampa club.'The Sharks offense has been miserable in the early going, scoring the fewest goals per game in the entire league. That doesn't bode well as one of the league's premier goaltenders makes his way into town, as Andrei Vasilevksiy took the night off against the Ducks on Wednesday and heads into today's game fully rested.
On the other side, the Sharks defense has been a bit better ranking 14th in goals against per game, but the Lightning still possess one of the deepest group of forwards who should be able to wear down the San Jose defenders. The win over the Leafs had to give the Sharks a jolt of confidence, but the Lightning still have advantages all across the ice in this matchup and should be able to take care of business on the road.
