Sam Houston State vs. Jacksonville State Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-8-2024

The Sam Houston State Bearkats (13-10, 6-2 C-USA) take to the road on Thursday with a visit to Jacksonville, Alabama and the Pete Mathews Coliseum for a Conference-USA showdown with the Jacksonville State Gamecocks (11-12, 3-5 C-USA). Sam Houston State was defeated by FIU 68-61 last Saturday, which snapped a three-game winning streak for the Bearkats and knocked them out of a first place tie in the Conference-USA with Louisiana Tech. Jacksonville State was defeated by New Mexico State 67-65 last Saturday. The Gamecocks have lost two straight and five of the last six. Sam Houston's Jaden Ray is questionable and has missed each of the last four games. Jacksonville State’s Andres Burney is questionable and has missed each of the last three games.
