The St. Peter’s Peacocks will make the one-hour trip to Lawrenceville to face the Rider Broncs in Metro League play from Alumni Gym on ESPN3. Rider leads the all-time series, 40-33, after winning four of the last six games.
Saint Peter’s moved to 9-12 after beating Mount St. Mary’s on the road. The Peacocks following a road-loss to Quinnipiac. The Peacocks led at the break, but couldn’t finish the mission, and lost to the Bobcats by seven points. St. Peter’s is scoring 62.1 points per game, while allowing 64.1 ppg and shooting 38.8% from the field.
St. Peter’s run last season was admirable, but this season has been a struggle. The Peacocks are 4-8 in Metro League play, and 3-8 on the road this season. Senior guard Isiah Dasher leads the team in scoring (14.1), after reaching double figures in nine straight games. Sophomore guard Jaylen Murray scored 22 points in the win over Bucknell, and he scores 11.9 ppg.
