RJ Barrett led the Knicks with 27 points, six rebounds, and four assists, while Julius Randle had 16 points and eight boards, making just five of his 17 attempts from the field.
“We weren’t great in defensive transition and we didn’t fly around like we normally do,” Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said.

Over their last ten outings, the Knicks were scoring a thumping 122.4 points per game while shooting 50.4% from the field and 38.9% from downtown. New York ranks fifth in the league in adjusted offensive efficiency (117.2 points per 100 possessions) and 15th in adjusted defensive efficiency (114.2). The Knicks are fifth in the Eastern Conference, three and a half games ahead of the No. 7 seed.
