Jesper Bratt and Jack Hughes have scored 35 goals and 75 assists to lead the top line but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. Tyler Toffoli, Nico Hischier, and Erik Haula have combined for 46 goals and 45 assists while defensemen Luke Hughes and John Marino have added 12 goals and 30 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has let them down, allowing 3.57 goals per game including 14 goals in their last three games. Kevin Bahl and Colin Miller have combined for 3.0 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net with ease. Additionally, goaltender Vitek Vanecek has struggled with a .887 save percentage and a 3.26 goals-against average on 830 shots with -14.1 goals saved above average.
