Los Angeles will try to recover from blowing a big lead at Milwaukee when it travels to New York on Saturday night. The Clippers have won six of their last eight games, but they blew a 21-point lead against the Bucks on Thursday. New York snapped a two-game losing streak with a 106-104 win against Miami on Thursday.

Los Angeles got off to a 21-15 start to the season before losing nine of its next 11 games, failing to overcome a key injury to star Paul George. The Clippers have been able to get back on track over the past few weeks, winning six of their last eight games coming into this matchup. Clippers star Kawhi Leonard missed an 18-foot jumper in the closing seconds after missing another jumper on the team’s previous possession. Veteran Norman Powell led Los Angeles with 26 points, while Leonard had 17 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. George and Marcus Morris scored 16 points each—Morris had missed the previous four games with a bruised rib. The Clippers have struggled on the offensive end this season, ranked No. 28 in the NBA in scoring (110.5). They are facing a New York defense that is No. 10, allowing 112.5 points per game. Los Angeles has won 15 of the last 19 meetings between these teams.
