How to Bet on the Stanley Cup Playoffs – Western Conference Futures and Picks

The Stanley Cup Playoffs have been everything that hockey fans could've hoped for to this point, as we have had the opportunity to see some great performances by individual players and teams. Matthew Tkachuk led the Florida Panthers back from a 3-1 series deficit against the 65-win Boston Bruins, while Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner helped the Toronto Maple Leafs break their 19-year playoff series win drought.

The Eastern Conference has provided some great hockey, but today we are going to focus on the West. The second round of the 2022-2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs has a lot to offer. The second round in the West sees Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers take on Jack Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights. This series pins the first two picks of the 2015 NHL Draft against one another for the first time ever in the playoffs.

The second series in the Western Conference for this round is between the Dallas Stars and Seattle Kraken. The second-year Kraken won Game 1 of this series, even with Joe Pavelski scoring 4-goals. The Stars turned around in Game 2 to even the series as they head back to Seattle. Please read further below for a deeper analysis of the odds from various sportsbooks and Dimers' projections for the four teams remaining in the Western Conference of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
