First look: Houston Texans at Denver Broncos odds and lines

The Houston Texans (0-0-1) and the Denver Broncos (0-1) meet in Week 2 Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we look at Texans at Broncos odds from Tipico Sportsbook; check back for all our NFL picks and predictions.

The Texans played the visiting Indianapolis Colts to a 20-20 tie in Week 1, covering the spread as 7-point underdogs with the Under 45.5 connecting. Houston led 20-3 after 3 quarters but blew that lead in the final 15 minutes. The Texans were close to losing in OT, but the Colts’ Rodrigo Blankenship missed a 42-yard field goal attempt with 2 minutes left in OT.

The Broncos fell 17-16 Monday night in Seattle as QB Russell Wilson returned to the place he spent his first 10 years in the NFL. New Denver coach Nathaniel Hackett elected to try for a 64-yard, game-winning field goal late in regulation, a decision which was panned by fans and the Twitterverse. It missed, and the Broncos lost.
