The Dallas Mavericks continue their road trip with a stop in Toronto on Saturday to face the Raptors. The Mavericks are 9-8 on the season while the Raptors come in with as record of 9-9. Dallas has won 4 straight against Toronto including a 111-110 win on Nov. 4 at Dallas. But Toronto has covered the spread in three of those four losses. Tipoff is at 5:00 p.m. EST at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

This is the second game of a three game road trip for the Mavericks and none of these games are easy. They lost at Boston on Wednesday, 125-112 and it was their third loss in their last four games. That dropped them to 9-8 on the season, 1.5 games behind New Orleans in the Southwest Division and 10th in the Western Conference. After this game with Toronto, it gets tougher as they head to Milwaukee to face the Bucks.

In the loss to the Celtics, it was the same old story as Luka Doncic went off for 42 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists, but it wasn't enough. Christian Wood had a nice game too with 26 points and 12 rebounds, while Spencer Dinwiddie added 15 points. But beyond those three there wasn't much else. Doncic is the NBA's leading scorer with 34 points per game. The Mavericks average 109.2 points per game, which ranks 24th in the NBA, but they give up just 106.5 points per game, which is the best in the league.
