The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (5-4) are on the road for a 7 p.m. ET contest Wednesday against the South Dakota Coyotes (5-6). The Coyotes are 1.5-point favorites with the total set at 141.5 points.

Coastal Carolina searches for its second away victory of the season and second-straight win overall after beating Regent 102-39 last time out in the 900th career “W” for head coach Cliff Ellis. The Chanticleers and Coyotes are facing off for the second time this year — with CCU taking a 66-59 win back on Nov. 26, thanks to scoring seven points in the last 42 seconds. The program is now averaging 78.8 points per game and have four players averaging double-digit scoring figures. Senior guard Jomaru Brown leads the team with 16.3 points per game following a 20-point performance against Regent.

Junior center Essam Mostafa, who has six double-double this season in nine games, is averaging 12.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per contest. Mostafa is just 139 points away from becoming the 24th player in Chanticleers history to record 1,000 career points. Senior guard Linton Brown contributes 11.8 points per game with a team-high 17 three-pointers made, as sophomore guard Josh Uduje adds 10.9 points per outing.
