Sunday Betting Recaps

Sunday was a mixed bag of betting results in the major team sports (aka Big Four).

Dogs continued to bark in the NBA with the Miami Heat upsetting the Boston Celtics as they’re now 4-2 SU and 6-0 ATS in the conference championship round with the Heat and Denver Nuggets both leading 3-0 in their respective series.

Meanwhile, the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Dallas Stars in overtime in the NHL playoffs (all 4 conference finals games so far have gone to OT) as home favorites while MLB chalk was 13-3 on Sunday. But then dogs continued to dominate in the USFL.

Let’s get to the details with our nightly betting recaps, and then update the spread and total records in each sport.

NBA: Heat beat Celtics again, this time as 4.5-point home underdogs and +155 on the money line to take commanding 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals (went Over betting total of 214.5). Home/dog/Over all 1-0 on Sunday. The “zig-zag” (aka “loser of the last”) was 0-1 with the loss by the Celtics after they lost the previous game.
