Houston Astros manager Dusty Baker has been around the block, managing multiple teams throughout his career. Baker began with the San Francisco Giants in 1993 and has been the manager of five teams. It hasn’t been a great stretch in June for the Astros, dropping to third place in the AL West and seeing Baker only pick up two victories over the last week.
Bruce Bochy returned as a manager in 2023, now the bench boss for the Texas Rangers. His most famous tenure came with the Giants from 2007 to 2019, where he led them to three World Series victories. Bochy has helped take the Rangers back to being a legitimate team, adding three more wins to his resume.
