Both the Phillies and Padres pulled off significant upsets to reach this point, but it was the road team that continued their postseason success last night. It was a close, low-scoring affair, but Philly pulled off the upset. They're slight underdogs again tonight, and they won't be quite as dominant pitching on the mound. Despite the Padres having ace Yu Darvish on the mound, the Phillies were still able to steal Game 1 in San Diego. While the 2-0 win barely covered the run line, there's reason to believe the Phillies should be able to score even more tonight. They'll be facing Padres starter Blake Snell, which is a much more advantageous matchup for them.
