The Brewers originally had Corbin Burnes scheduled to start this game. However, their injury situation forced them to bump him up in the rotation. It's also why the Mets have a great chance to maintain their lead over the Braves in the division. Milwaukee has starters Freddy Peralta and Eric Lauer both on the injured list. With no other usual starter with sufficient rest, they're forced to start lefty Aaron Ashby. He too was just on the injured list and was pushed out of the rotation when Peralta got healthy.
