Milwaukee is in great shape atop the NL Central, standing a comfortable 6.5 games ahead of the Cubs entering Monday night. The Brewers continue to shine, winning three consecutive series including a series victory against the Marlins and two wins in three meetings against the Nationals on the weekend. The squad is 7-3 in their last ten games.

Carlos Santana has consistently helped the Brewers' offense since he was brought in a deal with the Pirates. The veteran first baseman is hitting .304 with four RBIs and a solid .819 OPS against the Cardinals this season and now has 21 homers with 76 RBIs and a .733 OPS on the year.
Milwaukee is posting an average of 4.46 runs per game, ranking them 19th. The pitching continues to excel and has a 3.82 team ERA, placing them fourth.
