Our first play came down to Dylan Larkin and David Perron of the Detroit Red Wings. Given the price point for the overall point prop, Perron is the way to go. Taking Larkin's assist prop should also be a consideration, as they should both be in for great games. The Wings are taking on the Columbus Blue Jackets, who have been right alongside the Anaheim Ducks in terms of the worst in the NHL in several categories. That includes goals allowed per game, which is why Detroit defeated them 6-1 already this season. That was a game also in Columbus.
Therefore, several Wings skaters are likely to record points, but instead of worrying about who is on which line, Larkin and Perron have been paired together on the power play unit all season long. Not only are the Jackets allowing just under 4 goals per game, the Red Wings are the 5th-highest scoring team on the road over the last month. It also doesn't hurt that Perron has 46 points in 46 games against the Jackets, including a 4-point performance last season.
