The latest odds & predictions for the Trojans

2022 was a year of revelations for the Trojan fanbase, as during the offseason they had gotten the news that former Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley was headed to SoCal to take over the reigns at USC. With him came a ton of experience and a pedigree of winning, along with former Oklahoma QB Caleb Williams.

Right from the start, it was easy to see that the first season under Riley would be far better than what had been going on at the school for the last decade or so. The rejuvenation of the football program came quickly, and the Trojans finished the 2022 season with an 11-3 record and 8-1 in Pac-12 play. That earned them a trip to the Pac-12 Championship game against Utah, while also being ranked No. 4 in the nation.

Unfortunately their 2022 season would come to a stifling halt with a loss in that game, which eliminated them from playoff contention. However, they would earn a tri p to the Cotton Bowl Classic, but still ultimately lost to No. 16 Tulane.
