Tony Finau captured his third career win and his first of the season during a wild back nine where he flipped a five-shot deficit to a four-shot lead. There was some typical Finau drama, but he was ultimately able to cruise home for a comfortable three-shot win. He’s set to keep it rolling this week at the Rocket Mortgage, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him change those plans to celebrate and rest before the playoffs start in a few weeks.
This week the TOUR heads back to Detroit where Cameron Davis got his first win last year in a three-way playoff. He will return to defend that title, this time in a field that looks stronger on paper as it includes four of the top 21 players in the World Golf Rankings.
