Week 8 of the NCAA college football season has some interesting rivalry games lined up. The SEC is in action this week, including a showdown between the Texas A&M Aggies and South Carolina Gamecocks.
Texas A&M enters the week after back-to-back losses, while South Carolina has won three games in a row. Do the Aggies have what it takes to get back into the win column? Or will the Gamecocks extend their winning streak to four?

Texas A&M vs South Carolina Prediction and Best Bet
The Texas A&M-South Carolina rivalry has been as one-sided as it gets. The Gamecocks have won each of their eight all-time against the Aggies, with four of those victories coming by at least 24 points.
Don't count on Texas A&M giving up a lot of points this weak, though. The Aggies own a top-35 scoring defense this season and just held the No. 3-ranked offense in the nation – Alabama – to just 24 points last week despite playing on the road.
While South Carolina's offense has been solid this season, a huge chunk of its production came from scoring 106 points against South Carolina State and Charlotte – hardly two world-beaters. Outside of those two blowouts, the Gamecocks average 24 points per game, which is noticeably below their 30.4 PPG average this season.
With Texas A&M beating two ranked teams and staying close to Alabama, I like the Aggies' chances of winning here. Yes, South Carolina did beat then-No. 13 Kentucky two weeks ago, but one-sided losses to Georgia and Arkansas proved that the Gamecocks have a long way to go.
I'll take the total hitting under 44.5 points, as well as taking Texas A&M as 3-point favorites.
